They're invasive, they destroy habitat, they procreate at astounding levels, and the can eat just about anything. They may be one of the most detrimental feral species on our continent, but nonetheless, I have immense respect for these old battle-scarred brutes. This love/hate relationship plays itself out in every encounter I have with a feral hog. A revered enemy.
